Pangkor Laut Resort offers many activities for guests. A centerpiece of the Resort is Emerald Bay, considered by independent travel consultants as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. If you feel more adventurous, you may accompany the Resort's resident naturalist on his daily trek through the rainforest. The Concierge will also be delighted to help you with suggestions for excursions and island-hopping opportunities.
The Chapman's Challenge
The Chapman's Challenge honours the determination of a British Colonel, Freddy Spencer Chapman D.S.O, a top British commando who made a daring escape from the occupying Japanese army in Malaya during World War II. The Challenge evokes Colonel Chapman's sheer courage and endurance, through a run around Pangkor Laut Resort, followed by a jungle trail run and a swim out at Emerald Bay before concluding at Chapman's Bar, the latter named after Colonel Chapman to mark his escape point via the Royal Navy submarine, HMS Statesman.

Fishing and Snorkelling
Hop aboard a 12-foot motorised boat and take in the beauty of the surrounding islands whilst soaking up the warm tropical sun. After a picnic lunch on the beach, you may fish or snorkel in waters teeming with tropical marine fish. This trip requires a minimum of two persons.
